"His goals for me and the others were so much higher than we had for ourselves" -Gail Robinson

"Maverick paints a canvas with his dancers.  His unique teaching and innovative choreography appeal to the artist in me.  With his warm nature and constant smile, Maverick welcomes all into his world.  I return from classes charged by the cool dance routines we've learned.  His shout-out compliments hit home,  “Cornelia, you have your moments where you shine.”  Sounds silly, but means so much.  I highly recommend Maverick as a teacher, artist, and performer."   - Cornelia Atchley

"No matter what our differences Maverick makes us feel we all belong.  He gives us personalized attention, shows us proper technique and how to avoid injury. He asks us to focus on our centers while teetering on ten toes, and to visualize thoughts that inspire our movement.  If the world took dance lessons with Maverick Lemons all the anger that fuels conflict would evaporate and in that void would be a striving to get better for one's self and for others."  -Judy Lieberman

"Maverick!  I took your class for the first time tonight and love, love, loved it."  -Susan Dickerson
